The perfect time for a photoshoot

The “current” photo has become the “instantaneous” photo. So whenever grandma asks for a “current” photo of my family, even as a photographer, I cringe. Do I send her the picture from breakfast yesterday or from this morning? Or do I send that beautiful photo of us in the park from a few months back?

A “current” picture of your family today will be obsolete by tomorrow. This is why there is no perfect time for a photoshoot. There is no perfect occasion or perfect day. Instead of the annual photoshoot, consider representing the changes or achievements that have taken place in your family’s life.
